ITRC researchers worked in partnership with Ordnance Survey and industry partners to construct a UK first national infrastructure asset database which includes all major infrastructure network ‘layers’, represented geospatially, as well as the latest economic and demographic projections supplied by Cambridge and Leeds, respectively.
The database is hosted in PostgreSQL, with a PostGIS extension, and relies solely on open-source software including Python and NetworkX software.
The ITRC consortium successfully completed its MISTRAL programme in late 2020 and this website continued to showcase ITRC-inspired activities until the end of 2021. It is now frozen in time as a read more
