National infrastructure pilot results report

ITRC

Our second report examines a range of headline infrastructure strategies related to:

  • changes in demand management
  • changes in capacity provision (through changes to system efficiencies or infrastructure composition)

Possible future scenarios are being generated from external variables:

  • changes to the national and global economy
  • demographic changes
  • environmental changes

Short-term (to 2030) and long-term (to 2050 and beyond) strategies are incorporated to give a range of options over time for each sector.

The models developed to support this cycle will provide decision-makers with a tool to evaluate changes in capacity provision and an assessment of the implications for capital investment levels.
