Our second report examines a range of headline infrastructure strategies related to:
- changes in demand management
- changes in capacity provision (through changes to system efficiencies or infrastructure composition)
Possible future scenarios are being generated from external variables:
- changes to the national and global economy
- demographic changes
- environmental changes
Short-term (to 2030) and long-term (to 2050 and beyond) strategies are incorporated to give a range of options over time for each sector.
The models developed to support this cycle will provide decision-makers with a tool to evaluate changes in capacity provision and an assessment of the implications for capital investment levels.
