PEOPLE

Elco is an economist and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford. He has extensive experience in disaster risk modelling and management. His main research interest is the development of macroeconomic modelling frameworks to assess the economy-wide disruptions due to disasters. Currently, he focuses on the integration of critical infrastructure systems in these macroeconomic models on a global scale.
